If you would like to join our network we'd love to have you! Be sure you meet each of the following criteria & fill out an application for review.

As a professional in our network you must  . . .

  • currently provide pet services to pet owners in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (and/or surrounding cities) part-time or full-time as a source of income, not pro-bono, barter or hobby.

  • promise not to use and/or advocate the use of aversive training methods or tools, including (but not limited to): choke chains, pinch/prong collars, or e-collars/electronic/shock collars for training dogs regardless of what is being trained or what type of behavior is being modified

  • will, and do, adhere to a code of ethics that follows the humane hierarchy as laid out here as a training professional and/or behavior consultant/expert; as any other industry professional you must agree to and feel comfortable with this philosophy as well

  • agree to refer out to other professionals when you have a potential client or current client that may have a situation that is beyond your scope of expertise and/or comfort level

  • agree to utilizing non-aversive techniques when handling any pet for any reason and agree to utilizing Fear Free® methods for handling fearful, anxious, nervous and aggressive pets OR refer out to another professional within our network when you are unable to handle these types of behaviors in pets

  • deeply consider becoming Fear Free® certified in your field to help pets and their owners (this is not mandatory to join our network, but it's a huge bonus if you are already certified)

  • promise to refer to other training professionals that follow all of these principals listed above when training and/or modifying behavior in dogs if you are not able to help a potential client or if you are not a training professional (such as a veterinarian, veterinary technician, groomer, pet sitter, dog walker, etc.) and you will be primarily using our network as a referral base for finding an appropriate training professional
